PRINT ADVERTISING

I take a collaborative approach with my advertising to get new and different perspectives. Below are some print ads that I have created, with most of them showing in magazines in Washington State.

Magazine Print Advertisement for Wine in Tri-Cities, WA

For this full-page print ad in a magazine, I collaborated with the other members of my team to develop the copy. From there I took the copy and came up with the idea of taking the viewer through a visual journey of how to experience Washington’s Wine Country in Tri-Cities, WA. The different steps move the viewer’s eye through the piece to show the highlights and advantages of wine tasting in Tri-Cities, WA. By not having a background photo and instead a design, viewers can hopefully focus more on the individual pieces and copy to get a feel for the experience.

Magazine Print Advertisement for Autumn in Tri-Cities, WA

From concept to delivery, I developed the copy and overall look for this third-page print ad. I wanted to include a family-friendly photo to help show off the Tri-Cities, WA region as a place to bring your family, but I also wanted to show that there are things just for the adults as well. By combining the photo of a dad and son, along with the copy that mentions raising a glass of wine, I was able to achieve my goal in a simple, yet effective ad.

Magazine Print Advertisement for Wine and Food in Tri-Cities, WA

This ad was fun to make with the different orange colors and branded elements thrown in. For this ad the goal was to showcase food and wine in an atmosphere/place that felt unique. I ended up picking this photo that was taken at a local restaurant in Tri-Cities, WA and edited the photo to bring out the gorgeous sky, while still staying true to the area’s look and the original photograph. Colors come together to tie this ad and copy all into one.

Magazine Print Advertisement for Fall Activities in Tri-Cities, WA

The Tri-Cities, WA area has a lot to offer in the fall and throughout the year. With this ad I highlighted the different activities that can be done as the weather cools down in fall. With the help of my team members, we were able to develop some copy for this. I then chose images that best fit the space that matched what the ad was talking about. I wanted the activities to stand out, so I picked a beautiful landscape photo for the background to draw people in, but not to make it the focus of the ad. With this, the viewer can hone in on the real message of the ad about the activities that are offered.
