DIGITAL ADVERTISING
For digital advertising, I create the copy and the layout of the ad based on data driven results from past ad performances to ensure that I improve results for the organization that I am working for. I am skilled in both HTML and static display ads. Below are samples of both kinds that I have created.
“Discover What’s In You” Visit Tri-Cities 2025 Campaign
The “Discover What’s In You” advertising campaign for Visit Tri-Cities in 2025 is a visually edgy campaign that forces the audience to contemplate and think about the ad. The idea is that audiences will connect with the ad as they place themselves in the person in the ad’s place to discover what’s in them as they discover what Tri-Cities, WA has to offer. We put “you” in the ad to help audiences visualize themselves in the destination. These ads were used in fly and drive markets for leisure travel visitors who many have an interest in visiting the Tri-Cities area. For these ads I designed the ad look, wrote copy for the ads, and tracked all of the analytics for the ads to see if adjustments were needed to maximize our reach to quality audiences.

Visit Tri-Cities Brand Awareness Campaign 2024
In 2024, I developed, designed, and wrote the copy for the “Five Experience Categories of the Tri-Cities” campaign. The focus of these ads helped familiarize audiences with the Tri-Cities, WA brand as well as our location and what we have to offer for leisure travel. This campaign helped define who Visit Tri-Cities is as an organization and helped describe the destination. This ad campaign had a return on ad spend in the destination’s region of $351:$1. That means that for every $1 that was spent on ads, we saw $351 come into the area that was spent by visitors.

Eat, Sip, Gather in Tri-Cities, WA HTML Ad
For this HTML animated advertisement, I developed and created the copy and layout of the ad, as well as the animation. For this ad I wanted to show off food and drink in the Tri-Cities, WA area to complement our other campaigns going on. To help catch the eyes of viewers, animated icons were used as pops of movement to draw people in. The message is simple and easy to read quickly, along with a friendly, approachable photo.

Hydroplanes in Tri-Cities, WA HTML Ad
Hydroplanes are a must see in Tri-Cities, WA, so I wanted to highlight them in an ad in a cool, active way that resembles them on the water. With this ad I developed the copy and created the layout. The active motion helps bring attention to the ad to hopefully cut through some of the noise of other ads. This ad, along with a few others I have made, are now standards of what ads should be able to achieve for the market it was created for at Visit Tri-Cities.

Fall in Love with Tri-Cities, WA HTML Ad
Fall is a peaceful time with warm sunshine in Tri-Cities, WA and I wanted to highlight that in this HTML ad for fall. With the sun shining in the photo, which was taken in October, viewers can know that the area has nice weather in autumn. By showing a family I also achieve the goal of showing off the region as a family-friendly place to visit for fall harvest activities such as picking pumpkins. The subtle movement in the animation pairs nicely with my idea of how I want to present fall to viewers in a peaceful, calming, and charming way.

Explore. Discover. Recharge. HTML Ad
Using new campaign copy, I set out to create some general HTML ads for summer in Tri-Cities, WA to highlight it as a place of discovery and activities. The purpose of this ad was to fill in space during our summer campaigns where we could. The simplicity of it makes it easy to understand and the movement catches and leads the eye.

Static Display Ads
When I can not design HTML ads because of technical reasons with advertisers, I use static ads. I designed all of the ads to the left, with the copy being a team effort to hone in on what we thought was best. I use a photo as the main element, while the copy gives the viewer the information they want. Elements of the brand are shown through to highlight our look and feel.
